Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has accepted that the club would be willing to start negotitions with Italian champions Inter Milan over striker Diego Milito only if loads of money are ready to be exchanges.
>
Milito was signed from Spanish club Real Zaragoza in the summer of 2008 and has been in prolific form for Genoa so far, a form that has seen them challenge for a top four place in the Italian Serie A this season.
The Argentine striker has been linked with a move to Italian champions and European powerhouse Inter Milan, whose coach Jose Mourinho is said to be a huge admirer of the player.
Genoa president Preziosi has admitted that he is willing to negotiate but has said that theyr should be given a good offer for the highly rated striker. He told Il Corriere Dello Sport:
“Milito has an important contract with is, but if Inter present a major offer to the player then it will be hard for us to match it. Also, if a big offer comes Genoa’s way then we will have to sit down and discuss it.”
