Valencia might be relieved to have seen the back of Ronald Koeman but there are several other clubs who still rate the Dutchman very, very, very highly indeed. If Koeman’s agent Ger Lagendijk is to be believed, then Koeman has no fewer than six offers on his table. That’s great when you consider that Ronald Koeman was booted out of the Mestalla only this Monday.
Lagendijk told Voetbal International magazine:
“The offers are streaming in.Since Ronald was dismissed by Valencia five clubs and one national football association have come knocking on my door. It’s of no importance revealing their identity at this stage.”
So are we likely to see Koeman in a trainer’s dress soon?
“Ronald has clearly indicated that he would first like to rest for a few months before he starts something new. Until then, he’s more likely to be seen on a golf course.”
Maybe not. Thank God!
