Arsenal midfielder Matthieu Flamini is one foot out of the door. The French defensive midfielder’s contract with the Gunners runs out at the end of the season and in all likelihood Flamini wouldn’t like to extend it.
A whole host of clubs then are vying one another to arrest the signature of a player who has developed into one of the best holding midfielders in Europe this season. Flamini has been consistently linked with a move to the Italian giants Juventus at the end of the season but it now appear that it is Milan where Flamini wants to ply his trade.
The highly respected Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Matthieu Flamini has snubbed Juve for AC Milan. It is most likely that the 4 million euro a year salary that Milan’s Adriano Galliani has offered the Frenchman is the deciding factor in Flamini altering his decision.
