Real Madrid midfielder Guti has confirmed that he is contemplating hanging up his Madrid shirt in 2011 and pursure his playing career elsewhere.

Guti has been at Real Madrid all his life after progressing through the club’s youth ranks. He struggled to find a place in the starting line-up during the Galacticos era but he is now one of the first names of the teamsheets, injuries sparing of course.
But the mercurial 32-year old has now confirmed that he plans to move away from the Bernabeu when his current deal with the Blancos expires in three years’ time. Guti told La Sexta:
“I have already enjoyed many years at the club and I hope to enjoy the remaining three that I have left. My target is to continue playing at Madrid until 2011.
“After that, I hope to be able to go to an exotic country like the USA, Qatar or Dubai and play there. It would be a great way to end my career.
“And after that, I will try to take on the role of a coach. At some point, I would love to be on the bench in the dugout.”
