According to latest reports emanating from Italy, it appears that Italian and European powerhouse AC Milan are on the verge of signing Daniel Agger from Liverpool in the summer.
According to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, the Liverpool defender has already undergone a medical with Milan and shall be playng for the Diavoli next season.
Agger’s current contract with Liverpool expires in 2010 and with the player not getting too many games under manager Rafael Benitez at the moment, the move is more likely than not to come to fruition.
Milan’s Italian rivals Juventus were initially said to be the main hunters for Agger’s signature but it now seems that it is Milan who have made the most concrete move.
