According to a report in The Times, Manchester City executive chairman Garry Cook met with Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon sometime in January to discuss a possible deal.

But Kenyon flatly rejected the deal, saying that their captain is not for sale. John Terry has sworn his career to the Blues and must have been delighted to find out that the London think likewise.

This must indeed come as a rude shock to Man City, who in spite of all their money, failed to lure Kaka from AC Milan earlier this month.
