Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed his side has three fresh injury concerns following Sunday’s 4-3 extra-time loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The German manager pointed to concerns to Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo picked up during Sunday’s epic at Old Trafford.
The Reds are currently in the midst of a titanic Premier League title battle in Klopp’s final season in charge, sitting second on 64 points from 28 games.
Liverpool are behind leaders Arsenal only on goal difference, while champions Manchester City are third on 63 points.
The Reds have endured injury problems lately with Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota among those missing games.
The international window takes over for the next 10 days but Klopp still flagged concerns around fresh injury problems.
“Now the boys go on international duty,” Klopp said.
“We hope they come back healthy. Lucho (Diaz) felt his groin, Darwin a hamstring. Cody twisted his ankle.
“They play again in four or five days, it’s crazy.”
