Paris St-Germain Signs Lucas Hernandez

Treble winner Lucas Hernandez moves to Paris St.

He says that he has been waiting to join PSG for a while now.

“I’m really excited,” Hernandez said. “I’ve been waiting to join PSG for a long time, and it’s finally happened. It’s a very special day for me and I’m very happy to be here.”

The French player won the World Cup as part of the French team back in 2018. He was also part of the 2022 team, which was defeated by Argentina in penalties.

He has played for Bayern Munich since 2019.

In total, he made 74 appearances with Munich. In his first season with the German club, he also helped them win a treble.

The young French player is the son of Jean-Francois Hernandez who also played football professionally. His brother Theo Hernandez plays for AC Milan.

His new contract with PSG will see him with the team through to 2028. The transfer fee is reportedly around 60 Million Pounds.

The deal between PSG and Hernandez was signed on July 9, 2023.
