As it turns out, Lionel Messi is not the only one leaving Paris St. Germain this year. Defender Sergio Ramos will be another high-profile departure for the club.

On Twitter, he announced that he was parting ways with PSG saying:

“Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow I say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to PSG.”

The 37-year-old player has made 57 appearances for the team, making 44 of those this term. During that time, he also helped them win two French titles.

Nasser Al-Khelafi, PSG president, said: “Sergio’s leadership, team spirit, and professionalism, combined with his experience at the highest level, make him a true football legend, and it was an honor to have him in Paris.”

He joined PSG back in 2021 after his stint with Real Madrid. He is Spains most capped player. With them, he has won a World Cup and two European Championships.

In his career with Real Madrid, he won five La Liga Titles and as well as four Champions League titles.

He did not make much headway with PSG until his second season with the team because his first season was hit by injuries.
