Galtier is under pressure to keep his job at Parc des Princes, with PSG crashing out of the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16.
That pressure only got worse after PSG slumped at home to Rennes in the league, seeing their lead atop Ligue 1 cut to seven points with Olympique Marseille winning 2-1 at Reims.
“My only obsession is to be champion,” Galtier told reporters.
“This match will perhaps cause my management to reflect, but we have to put things in context.
“This match should not call everything into question. There are no excuses but there are reasons. There are 10 matches left, we are ahead in Ligue 1.
“Losses always upset us. Afterwards, everyone has their reading of the game. You have yours and I have mine.
“In the current context, with so many absences though it is not an excuse we knew that we would have defensive fluctuations.”
Galtier has led PSG since July last year, claiming 28 wins, five draws and seven losses across 40 games.
The PSG boss previously led Lille to the 2020-21 Ligue 1 title, before taking Nice to the Coupe de France final in 2022.
