Cristiano Ronaldo’s long-rumored deal with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr is now official.

With the new contract, he is estimated to make US$213 Million a deal alongside endorsement deals.

Back at the start of the World Cup, he started for Portugal but was benched for some of the major matches, including the quarterfinals against Morocco.

He had been with Manchester United since the summer of 2021 after he left Real Madrid. He played 40 games with the club in his second stint with them, scoring only 19 times.

His time with the club became problematic after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer left and Ten Hag took over.

The football star has been a free agent since he parted ways with Manchester United just days before the start of the World Cup.

This was after he disparaged the club in a television interview where he said that he did not have any respect for Manchester United team managed Erik ten Hag.

It made clear that it was untenable for Ronaldo to remain with United, yet no European Club had stepped forward to offer him a deal.

Of the move to Al-Nassr, Ronaldo said:

“I’m thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring,”

“I’m very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success.”
