Blackburn Rovers have progressed tremendously this season and manager Mark Hughes has been the main reason why they have done so. So much so that the Welshman has been linked with a number of to jobs but Hughes confirms that he is happy to work at Ewood Park and is not looking to join any other club soon.
In his column for the British daily The Telegraph, Mark Hughes wrote:
“I have been flagged up as a possible future manager of Manchester United and also Chelsea, another of my former clubs.
“When people say nice things about you, it’s an indication you’re doing something right, but I’m focused on Blackburn.”
That’s news, isn’t it, Hughes being linked to jobs at Man United and Chelsea but you have to accept that managing Man United or Chelsea is a bit far fetched for Hughes at this stage of his managerial career. The likes of Man United and Chelsea wouldn’t necessarily want to appoint a man who hasn’t won any trophies in his managerial tenure!
