The draw for this season’s edition was held on Thursday after the final six spots were confirmed this week, with Viktoria Plzen among them, drawn into the ‘Group of Death’ alongside Bayern, Barca and Inter.
Reigning champions Real Madrid have RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic, while title hopefuls Manchester City will face Sevilla, FC Copenhagen and Erling Haaland’s former club Borussia Dortmund.
Arguably, the most open group is Group D with Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt alongside Tottenham, Sporting Lisbon and Olympique Marseille.
