Fiorentina star Alberto Gilardino has declared that the time spent at AC Milan was the worst in his career.
The Italian international was signed by the Italian and European powerhouse AC Milan from Parma after proving himself as a prolific goalscorer.
But he was unable to settle in at Milan and was signed by Fiorentina in the summer.
The Italian hitman has since been in exceptional form and has once again become a profilic goalscorer.
Speaking in an interview with Corriere Della Sera, Gilardino declared that his Milan days were the worst in his career. He remarked:
“Milan? They were the worst years of my career. I have not cleared up things (with Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti), but I don’t harbour any resentment. He made his choices and I respect them.”
