Zenit Saint Petersburg striker Andrei Arshavin is available for sale for a price of 20 million pounds, as has been reported.
It has been reported that last season’s UEFA Cup winners are eager to sell the want-away Russian intertional striker for a fee of 20 million pounds or more.
Rumours have been rife all this week that Premier League side Arsenal were on the verge of signing the Russian international hitman and although no concrete reports have emerged suggesting that the Gunners have made a bid, it is being speculated that negoatiations between the clubs are at an advanced stage.
Zenit’s general manager Maxim Mitrofanov told Radio Echo:
“Arshavin’s price tag is £20m, and we hope that Arsenal are going to make an offer like that soon.”
