According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Italian champions Inter Milan are planning to launch an ambitious bid for the Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor next month.

It has been reported that Inter are eager to offload their out-of-favour Brazilian international striker Adriano should they be able to recruit the Togolese international footballer.
Adebayor is said to be frustrated at the lack of success Arsenal have had had in recent years and was the subject of a good deal of tranfer speculation in the summer when he was linked with a move to Inter’s archrivals AC Milan.
It has now been reported that Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho is keen on signing Adebayor who he admires very much. It is being speculated that Inter would launch the bid in January but in all likelihood Adebayor would not leave the Emirates until the summer of 2009 at least.
