The 23-year old Portuguese international winger was recently crowned the European Player of the Year and he was in Paris to collect the Ballon D’or Trophy.

Speaking to the France Football magazine, the 23-year old said:

“I feel at home there. I arrived there when I was very young and I have won individual and team trophies there. Today I have this individual award that makes me very happy, it’s the fulfilment of work that I have been doing for a long time.

“But I am ambitious. I have to keep on lifting individual and team trophies. I hope everything will be good again this year and that we’ll win the the Champions League again and the Premier League also, which is the club’s priority.

“It’s not the time to talk about other clubs at the moment. I’m happy here and I’m going to stay.”

Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford is perpetually wrapped in uncertainly. After leading United to the Premier League and UEFA Champions League crowns last season, he admitted that he wanted to play for Spanish champions Real Madrid but was persuaded to stay on at United by manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

But it appears that at least for now Ronaldo is happy playing for Manchester United and is not thinking about jumping ship.
