According to a report in the Catalan sports daily Sport, Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has been given two weeks’ time to try and restore the situation at the Bernabeu or else he shall be booted out.

The German trainer has been enduring some torrid times of late. His squad has been plagues by injuries as a number of first team regulars have been sidelines with a variety of injuries.
Then results on the pitch too have been unkind to him as the latest defeat came on Saturday when Schuster’s former club Gefate defeated them quite comfortably in the end.
Sport now reports that the Real Madrid hierarchy has given him two weeks’ time to restore parity. Real play their archrivals FC Barcelona in El Clasico in a fortnight’s period and Schuster’s future at the Bernabeu seemingly hanags on this particular match.
So far no replacements have been thought of but it is most likely that Miguel Ángel Portugal, Madrid’s technical director, would be appointed the coach should Schuster be sacked mid-term although the likes of Rafael Benitez and Carlo Ancelotti have been mentioned too.
