Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Juventus he wants to leave before the end of the transfer window with Manchester City looming large.

The 36-year-old Portugal international only has one year remaining on his current Juve contract and his name has been in the rumour mill all off-season.

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly held talks with Juventus and informed the club that he wants to leave, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It is believed Juventus are willing to sell him for around 25-30 million euros, with Sky Sport Italia claiming City will offer him a two-year deal.

The report also claimed that Ronaldo had cleared out his locker at Juve, such is his desire to exit.

City missed out on signing Harry Kane this week after the England striker publicly declared he would be staying with Tottenham.

The English champions had reportedly offered Spurs more than 100 million pounds for Kane, having already spent that amount on Jack Grealish.

It remains to be confirmed that City will turn their attention to Ronaldo ahead of the closure of the transfer window on midnight Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Juventus are in advanced talks with Everton’s Italian forward Moise Kean about a move to Turin.

Juve are also reportedly keen on City’s Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, who may be involved in a swap deal.
