Italy are not afraid, said Leonardo Bonucci about facing England at Wembley Stadium for the Euro 2020 final.

Italy and England will be competing for the last match in this series on English soil on Sunday.

At the semi-final on Tuesday, Italy defeated Spain on penalties at the Wembley Stadium. The final will have mostly an English crowd, but Bonucci said it will still give the team additional motivation. There will still be as many as 1,000 Italian fans that can watch the game live inside Wembley.

Bonucci, 34, is the Juventus defender and will line up to face the England team alongside 36-year-old Giorgio Chiellini, his center-back partner. The England team is composed of players with an average age of 25. With this, Bonucci jokes the game going to be like youngsters against old men.

The Italian defender also shared his thought about the England team, saying they have strong attackers. Their team will have to pay a lot of attention to their opponents. They also realize the difficulties that the opposing team can give them so they must be careful, particularly the other teams speed.

For England, the Euro 2020 is momentous. It has been 55 years since they reached the major men’s final after winning over Denmark in extra time. But Italy wont be handing over the title easily to England. The four-time World Cup winners aim to get their first European Championship since 1968.
