Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has taken to Twitter to express his delight at helping England qualify for the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.

England got the better of Germany 2-0 at Wembley Stadium in London in the Round of 16 on Tuesday evening.

After a goalless first half, Manchester City attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling put the Three Lions in the lead in the 75th minute when he turned in Luke Shaw’s cross.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored his first goal of the tournament on 86 minutes when he slotted home Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish’s cross.

Phillips started for England, and the Leeds midfielder is delighted that the Three Lions are now in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.
