Lovren was in action for Croatia in their 3-1 win against Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow in Euro 2020 Group D on Tuesday evening.
The Croatians eased past Robertson’s Scotland, thanks to a masterclass performance from Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, who scored a superb goal and provided an assist.
Lovren and Robertson are former Liverpool teammates, and the former has sent a message on Twitter to the left-back as shown below.
Robertson, 27, joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017, while central defender Lovren, 31, was on the books of the Reds from 2014 until 2020 before leaving for Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Russian Premier League.
Between 90min there is nothing to say, everyone is giving their best for his team.
