Milot Rashica is delighted to have joined Norwich City from Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window.

Norwich, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, have announced the signing of the 24-year-old winger.

The Kosovo international, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, has signed a four-year contract with the Canaries.

Norwich have reportedly paid German club Werder 9.4 million pounds in transfer fees for Rashica.

Rashica made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Werder last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.

The former Vitesse star is over the moon to have joined Norwich this summer.

Rashica told Norwich’s official website: “I’m really excited to play in front of the Norwich fans and in the Premier League. I will of course give my best to this football club in every game and hope to excite the fans with many goals and assists. I can’t wait to get started.

“I know a few things about the club, particularly the style of play under Daniel Farke. I want to continue to learn and develop as a player and person and I think that the style of play here will suit me very well.

“I have spoken with the boss and I know what he wants to see from me. Those conversations with him recently have been a big help and I am very excited.”
