Villa submitted a bid of 25 million pounds for Arsenal attacking midfielder Smith Rowe, according to The Athletic.
However, the Gunners have turned it down.
The North London club have no intention whatsoever of selling the 20-year-old Englishman.
In fact, Arsenal reportedly want to renew the contract of Emith Rowe which runs out in the summer of 2023.
Smith Rowe enjoyed a breakthrough season at Arsenal in 2020-21.
The 20-year-old made 18 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners this past season.
The youngster scored two goals and gave four assists in those matches.
Smith Rowe also made eight starts and three substitute appearances in the Europa League for Mikel Arteta’s side this past campaign.
