Ramos is out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season, and the Spanish central defender will no longer play for the Spanish and European giants.
Madrid have released a statement today, saying that club president Florentino Perez and Ramos will host a press conference tomorrow in which the defender will bid a fond farewell to Los Blancos.
“Real Madrid C. F. announces that tomorrow, Thursday 17 June, at 12:30 p.m., an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captainSergio Ramoswill be held, which will be attended by our president Florentino Perez,” reads the statement on Madrid’s official website.
“Sergio Ramos will then appear before the media in a virtual press conference.”
Ramos has been on the books of Madrid since 2005 when he joined from La Liga rivals Sevilla.
The 35-year-old has been a legend at the Santiago Bernabeu and is hugely popular among the fans.
During his time at Madrid, Ramos won the La Liga title five times, the Copa del Rey twice, and the Champions League on four occasions.
