The Hammers have got the better of West Brom 3-1 away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.
Rice had the chance to put West Ham in the lead in the first half from the penalty spot, but the England international, who can also operate as a defender, failed to successfully convert the spot kick.
Matheus Pereira put the Baggies in the lead on 27 minutes, only for Tomas Soucek to restore parity for David Moyes’s side in first-half injury time.
Angelo Ogbonna put West Ham 2-1 up on 82 minutes, and Michail Antonio secured the points for the London club in the 88th minute.
The win means that West Ham are now sixth in the Premier League table with 62 points from 37 games.
The Hammers are four points behind fifth-placed Leicester City and fourth-placed Liverpool and will not finish in the Champions League places.
However, Moyess side can still end up in the Europa League spots, and Rice is determined to see his team qualify for Europe next season.
