Joe Willock, signed on loan from Arsenal in the January transfer window, scored the only goal of the match in fourth minute of first-half injury time.
Former Newcastle centre-back Quinn is delighted to see Steve Bruce’s side pick up all three points from the game in front of 10,000 fans.
Quinn has also said that he hopes that Willock signs for next season.
The 21-year-old English midfielder has made 10 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle since joining the Magpies on loan in the January transfer window, scoring seven goals in the process.
