Thomas Tuchel’s side suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Premier League rivals Leicester at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
Youri Tielemans scored the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute, finding the back of the net with a right-footed drive from 25 yards.
There was VAR drama in the final moments of the game as well, as Ben Chilwell was adjudged to have been in an offside position after Wes Morgan had bundled the ball into his own net.
Rudiger has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Chelsea’s failure to win the FA Cup final against Leicester.
Losing a cup final feels more disappointing than being knocked out in an early round to be honest, but this game won't ruin the self confidence we've gained during the last months.
