The Hammers played out a 1-1 draw with Brighton away from home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Danny Welbeck put the Seagulls in the league after 84 minutes, only for Said Benrahma to restore parity for West Ham just three minutes later.
Rice, who can also play as a defender, made his return to the team after a spell on the sidelines, and he has given his reaction to the final result.

The draw against Brighton is a big blow to West Hams chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
David Moyes’s side are sixth in the league table at the moment with 59 points from 36 matches, five points behind London rivals and fourth-placed Chelsea.
West Ham will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.
