Klopp has said that the 19-year-old United forward is an exceptional offensive talent and has praised the young attacking English players.
The German coach made the comments ahead of the Premier League game between United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: I dont know exactly how old Marcus Rashford is, he looks quite young but obviously is meanwhile very experienced. Mason Greenwood, absolutely exceptional offensive talent, one of this English generation of offensive players which is absolutely incredible.
If you count them all, you think, who do you want to leave out? Greenwood, [Phil] Foden, [Mason] Mount; strikers then, [Raheem] Sterling, [Jadon] Sancho. What a generation.”
Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 34 matches.
The Reds, who won the league title last season, are seven points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who have played 36 games.
United, who have progressed to the Europa League final this season, currently find themselves second in the league table table with 70 points from 35 games.
Greenwood has made 20 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Reds so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in the process.
The England international forward also scored one goal and gave one assist in five Champions League matches and scored one goal in eight Europa League games for the Red Devils this campaign.
