Madrid played out a goalless draw with Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the second leg of the quarter-final tie on Wednesday evening.
The defending La Liga champions had won the first leg of the tie 3-1 at home last week, meaning that Los Blancos have progressed to the semi-finals 3-1 on aggregate.
Madrid goalkeeper Kroos has admitted on Twitter that it was not easy for his side to win against Liverpool, but the German midfielder is overjoyed that they got there in the end.
