Belgium international midfielder Kevin De Bruyne put the Citizens in the lead after 19 minutes, only for Marco Reus to restore parity in the 84th minute.
Phil Foden secured the win for Pep Guardiola’s side in he 90th minute when he found the back of the net from close range.
