Manchester City central defender Aymeric Laporte has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Premier League rivals Everton in the FA Cup.

City have got the better of Everton 2-0 away from home at Goodison Park in the sixth round of the FA Cup this evening.

After a goalless first half, Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead in the 84th minute when Ilkay Gundogan headed home after Laporte’s shot was tipped onto the crossbar.

Kevin De Bruyne made it 2-0 in the 90th minute with a wonderful goal, as City booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Laporte has taken to Twitter to revel in the success for City, who remain on track for the quadruple.

Visitors City had 74% of the possession, took 15 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners.
