Leeds will take on Everton at Elland Road in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.
The West Yorkshire club will head into the match against the Toffees on the back of a 3-1 victory over Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium in the league.
It followed a 2-1 win for the Whites against Newcastle United away from home at St. James’ Park in the league.
Leeds are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 20 matches.
Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves eighth in the standings with 33 points from 19 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Leicester.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will head into the match against Leeds on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle at Goodison Park in the league.
Liverpool legend Lawrenson has backed Leeds to pick up all three points against Everton courtesy of a 2-0 win.
Lawrenson told BBC Sport: “It was a strange performance by Everton at the weekend. They never really got going against Newcastle and another worry is that the goals have dried up for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has not scored in any of his past seven league games.
“Leeds were impressive in their win over Leicester, which saw Patrick Bamford end his mini goal-drought.Bamford deserves a mention for the quality of that strike, and also for playing Jack Harrison in for the crucial third goal - his attitude and awareness is top class.”
