Michael Owen has backed Tottenham Hotspur to win the London derby against Fulham this week.
Tottenham will take on Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Jose Mourinho’s side will head into the London derby on the back of a 5-0 hammering of Marine away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.
Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 16 matches, seven points behind leaders Manchester United, who have played 17 games.
Meanwhile, Fulham currently find themselves 18th in the league table with 11 points from 15 matches and are in danger of going back down to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Cottagers will head into the match against Spurs on the back of a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.
Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Owen believes that Spurs will pick up all three points against Fulham courtesy of a 2-0 win.
Owen said: “Fulham travel to Tottenham having drawn their last four Premier League matches. Spurs have scored ten goals in their last 3 games, and despite two of those matches coming up against opposition from leagues below them, it’s never a bad habit to fall into.
“I was impressed with Spurs in their last home match against Leeds, and if they can recapture that form, I think they’ll win.”
