Tottenham will take on Antwerp at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their final Europa League Group J game.
Jose Mourinho’s side are second in the group with 10 points from five matches, two points behind leaders Antwerp.
Both Antwerp and Tottenham have already progressed to the knockout rounds of the Europa League from the group, and a win at home on Thursday evening will see the Premier League club win it.
Former Liverpool striker Owen believes that Spurs will get the better of the visiting team from Belgium at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Owen said: “It’s a shootout for top spot in Group J. Table toppers, Royal Antwerp are the last side to have defeated Spurs. Since then, the hosts have gone from strength-to-strength. A home win against North London rivals Arsenal at the weekend means that they sit top of the Premier League.
“I think they’ll be motivated to do the same in Europe. Jose Mourinho knows how important it is to finish 1st and avoid the big guns in the next round. The visitors arrive here with only 3 wins in their last 8, so I’m expecting the good vibes to continue for Tottenham in a convincing win.”
