RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara has taken to Twitter to express his delight at scoring his first goal in the Champions League against Manchester United on Tuesday evening.

Leipzig got the better of United 3-2 at home in Champions League Group H.

Angelino put the German club in the lead at the Red Bull Arena after just two minutes, and Haidara doubled the advantage on 13 minutes.

Justin Kluivert found the back of United net in the 69th minute, and it appeared that the Bundesliga club were heading for a comfortable 3-0 win.

However, United pulled one back in the 80th minute from a Bruno Fernandes penalty and found the back of the net again just two minutes later through an own goal from Ibrahima Konate.

The 3-2 win means that Leipzig have progressed to the last-16 stage of the Champions League with 12 points from six matches.
