The defending Premier League champions have already booked their place in the last-16 stage of Europe’s premier club competition ad are assured of top spot in the group.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are at the top of Champions League Group D with 12 points from five matches, four points clear of second-placed Atalanta.
Former Liverpool striker Owen believes that the Reds will win against FC Midtjylland in Denmark on Wednesday evening.
While predicting a 1-0 win for the visiting team, Owen said: “Danish side Midtjylland welcome Liverpool in their final group match. The home side earned a draw last time out away to Atalanta, albeit they’ve won only 1 of their last 4 on home turf.
“Jurgen Klopp will be expected to change his line-up here having secured top spot, however, I think the Reds have more than enough talent to come away with the points.”
