However, Mourinho has said that he is confident that the England international striker will recover in time for the Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss, though, has not disclosed the nature of the injury suffered by the 27-year-old striker.
Kane did not train for Spurs on Wednesday ahead of their Europa League Group J game against LASK away from home on Thursday evening.
Mourinho told Sky Sports: “I don’t believe he [Lamela] has a chance for the weekend. Harry, Vinicius and Sergio there is a chance for them to be [fit] for the weekend.”
The Portuguese added: “I’m not going to tell you the nature of his injury. I think there’s a good chance [for Sunday], I don’t want to lie, I don’t want to hide anything in relation to ‘Oh is he going to play or not’. I think he’s going to play, that’s my feeling.”
Tottenham are second in Europa League Group J at the moment with nine points from four matches, level on points with leaders Royal Antwerp.
Spurs are currently at the top of the Premier League table with 21 points from 10 matches, level on points with second-placed and defending English champions Liverpool.
