Manchester United winger Daniel James has taken to Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

United got the better of Istanbul Basaksehir 4-1 at Old Trafford in Champions League Group H.

Bruno Fernandes put the Red Devils in the lead in the seventh minute and added a second on 19 minutes.

Marcus Rashford made it 3-0 from the penalty spot in the 35th minute, and James wrapped up the scoring with the Premier League club’s fourth goal of the evening in the second minute of injury time.

The winger has taken to Twitter to revel in the win and is pleased to have scored his first goal in the Champions League.

Visitors Basaksehir had 48% of the possession, took 13 shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners.

United are at the top of Champions League Group H at the moment with nine points from four matches, three points ahead of second-placed Paris Saint-Germain.
