The former Villa and Liverpool striker rates Grealish highly, and has said on Twitter that if Grealish plays for Spanish and European giants Madrid or Barcelona, then he would be a massive success.
The 25-year-old has actually been linked with Madrid, with DefensaCentral reporting that head coach Zinedine Zidane is looking at the England international as a potential replacement for Spain international attacking midfielder Isco.
I've never overstated not understated his ability.

He's an A class attacking talent. A class.
The better the players around him, the more productive he'll be. Stock him at Madrid or Barca and the kid would take the absolute piss.
I'd put any money you care to bet on that. https://t.co/uj0owP0Ysd
Grealish is one of the better attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is a key figure at Villa.
The 25-year-old played a big role in the Villans winning promotion from the Championship and then played an instrumental part in Dean Smith’s side narrowly avoiding the drop from the Premier League at the end of last season.
The performances of Grealish for Villa this season have seen him become a regular in the England squad.
Grealish has scored four goals and provided five assists in the Premier League so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, the England international attacking midfielder scored eight goals and gave six assists in 36 league games.
