Cannavaro knows what to expect as he visits Turin tonight. The reception from his former fans will be merciless. 
The Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has not cut the ties to Juventus, the club which he left when it was relegated to Serie B after a match-fixing scandal.
While other fan favorites like Nedved and del Piero stayed loyal to the club Cannavaro decided to jump ship because of the relegation. Many fans considered this an act of treason.
“I expect to get the same treatment in Turin as any other former player, that means I will be ridiculed and humiliated”, he says according to Italian Tuttosport before tonight’s Champions League clash between Juventus and Real Madrid.
