As reported by Sky Sports, Gerson Fernandes and Paulo Gazzaniga will not feature for Tottenham in the group stage of the European competition for Spurs either.
Rose spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United, and it does not seem that Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho plans to include him in his team anytime soon.
The England left-back failed to win a move away from Spurs in the summer transfer window, and the 30-year-old was not given a squad number by the North London outfit.
Rose has now been left out of Tottenhams Europa League squad, with the left-back out of contract at the Premier League club next summer.
