Sky Sports have reported that the Spain international is undergoing a medical at Leeds, and once he has passed it, he will complete his move to Elland Road.
The Spaniard will become the West Yorkshire club’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window, with the promoted Premier League club have secured the services of Robin Koch and Rodrigo among others.
Leeds are playing in the top flight of English football this season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Llorente is a former Real Madrid central defender who could make a huge impact in the first team at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he has been superb for Sociedad in La Liga over the past three seasons.
