Wilshere has been linked with a move away from West Ham this summer, with The Mirror reporting that the Premier League club want to terminate his current contract and get his 100,000-a-week salary off their wage bills.
The London Evening Standard has reported that the former Arsenal midfielder himself would be open to a move away from the London Stadium this summer if another club are willing to match his salary at the Hammers.
West Ham manager Moyes has admitted that he does not know if the 28-year-old will be at the club after the summer transfer window closes next month.
Moyes told The London Evening Standard regarding Wilshere’s future: “I don’t know [if he’ll remain a West Ham player], I don’t know but we just have to wait and see don’t we?”
Disappointing West Ham United spell
Wilshere joined West Ham in the summer of 2018 on a free transfer after leaving London and Premier League rivals Arsenal.
The England international has had injury problems during his time at the London Stadium and has failed to make a huge impact at the club.
The 28-year-old made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Ham last season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, he made four starts and four substitute appearances in the league.
