The 24-year-old midfielder started the game and played for 76 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
The Leeds star had a pass accuracy of 82.8%, took 73 touches, and made five tackles, two interceptions and one clearance for the Three Lions.
It was Phillips’s debut for the England national football team, and he has expressed his delight on Instagram.
