Gnabry scored two goals, as Bayern got the better of French club Lyon 3-0 in the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
The 25-year-old winger found the net first in the 18th minute and then on 33 minutes, as the German giants set up a date with Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday.
The Germany international winger started his professional club football career at Arsenal, but he failed to establish himself in the first team at the Gunners.
Gnabry had a disappointing loan spell at West Bromwich Albion during the 2015-16 campaign as well.
However, the winger starred at Werder Bremen in 2016-17 and earned the move to Bayern in 2017, and the winger is now an important player in the team.
Roberts, who can also play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, knows Gnabry from his time at West Brom, and he has praised the German.
