Hart has joined Tottenham on a two-year contract on a free transfer following his departure from Premier League rivals Burnley at the end of June.
Spurs were looking for a new goalkeeper following the departure of Michel Vorm at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old is a very experienced goalkeeper who won the Premier League title twice, the FA Cup once, and the League Cup on two occasions with City.
Hart will join Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga as the senior goalkeepers in Jose Mourinhos squad, and he is pleased to have made the move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as shown on his post on Instagram below.
Hart has also given his take on moving to Spurs on the Premier League club’s official website.
The 33-year-old England international said: “Firstly, I just want to say thank you to the club for seeing something in me.
“No getting away from it, it’s been a difficult couple of years for me personally on the football field, but I feel I’ve got so much to give, I feel like I’ve got a lot of quality, a lot in the bank, but not much game time recently.
“I can only look at things positively. I’m ready to go. I feel like I’m starting again, and I quite enjoy that feeling. My body is certainly ready for me to start again.
“I’m ready to push and ready to get back to levels. I love the idea of European football, two games a week… it all excites me.”
