As announced on Leeds’s official website, Shackleton has put pen to paper on a new deal.
The 20-year-old, who can operate as a midfielder or as a wing-back, has agreed a four-year deal with the West Yorkshire outfit and will stay at Elland Road until the summer of 2024 at least.
The youngster has been on the books of Leeds since 2006 and has developed well at the club’s academy.
The England Under-20 international made five starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites during the 2019-20 season, scoring two goals in the process.
During the 2018-19 campaign, Shackleton made four starts and 17 substitute appearances in the league for Leeds, scoring two goals in the process.
Shackleton is overjoyed to have committed his future to Leeds, and is looking forward to the next season.
