Austin joined West Brom from Premier League club Southampton in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee of 4 million pounds.
The 31-year-old former Queens Park Rangers forward has made 18 starts and 16 substitute appearances in the Championship for West Brom this season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in the process.
Leeds United are the other Championship club to have clinched automatic promotion to the Premier League, with Brentford, Fulham, Cardiff City and Swansea City clinching the playoff sports.
